In light of the rapidly developing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, we have received a heightened number of enquiries from our clients who are looking to ensure that their estate plan is in order in the event of a worst case scenario. We recognise that in this period of significant uncertainty you may also be particularly concerned about your own estate plan.
It is our usual practice to meet with you in person to obtain instructions and also to sign documents. We realise that this process may not be suitable for all our clients at this time.
We are committed to continuing to offer our usual services and we wish to advise that we are offering remote appointments in place of our usual face-to-face meetings. If you are in self-isolation, quarantine, or are a vulnerable person but would like to review or update your estate plan, please contact us to arrange a phone or video call appointment. If necessary, our team can guide you through the process of signing a Will at home. We can also assist and advise you in the creation of a stopgap or informal Will if required.
If you have upcoming appointments scheduled and you are concerned you may not be able to attend please let us know. We are working to provide flexible solutions so that we can still provide you with advice and continue to progress your matter in this challenging environment.
