In a year that brought with it some big challenges, we have not only managed to weather the storm, but end the year on a high note with the announcement of several well-deserved promotions amongst our team.

With a background as an industrial relations lawyer and more than ten years’ experience in providing advice to construction industry clients, John Nikolic will be promoted to Special Counsel in the Litigation Team where he will continue to act in a diverse range of disputes specifically in the construction industry.
Best known for her tailored solutions to complex commercial matters and disputes and being able to facilitate early resolutions, Courtney Noble will be promoted to Senior Associate in the Litigation Team.
Eleanor Heffernan’s down-to-earth manner, empathy and willingness to take the time to explain the finer details to her clients, have been rewarded with a promotion to Senior Associate in the Wills & Estates Team.
Nicholas Scotton will be promoted to Senior Associate in the Commercial Team, where he will continue to work across the spectrum of clients including start-ups, large private sector companies and government departments and not-for-profit sectors.
And Kate Phillips will be promoted to Associate in the Litigation Team after being with Meyer Vandenberg for just 1.5 years, proving her capabilities as a focused and pragmatic litigator.
