<font size="2">Advising on an industry engagement process that would assist Defence in developing an approach to the provision of health services to meet the Commonwealth’s needs. Strict protocols and monitoring processes were incorporated into the probity plan in order to manage the complex probity issues associated with the project. </font><br />

<font size="2">Advising on the tender process to engage industry in the provision of Defence Recruitment Services. This involved developing the probity plan and protocols and advising on compliance with the Defence Procurement Manual and Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.</font><br />

<font size="2">Advising in relation to the development of a shared equity scheme to support the ACT Government’s affordable housing initiative. The project was aimed at assisting public housing tenants to enter the private housing market. The work involved development of a tender process for the appointment of a financier, advising on the engagement of IMB as the successful tenderer, advising on Consumer Credit Code implications for Housing and Community Services, and drafting the equity loan agreement, mortgages and contracts for sale.</font><br />

<font size="2">Acting as key adviser to the Land Development Agency in relation to the sale of more than 5000 residential blocks since 2007. Services provided have included drafting option documentation, disclaimers and warranties; attending more than 50 auctions; advising on the Planning and Development Act 2007 (ACT); and acting for the LDA in relation to both the exchange of contracts of sale and to disputes that have arisen with developers.</font><br />

<font size="2">Working to have the firm appointed onto two legal panels that manage Defence Housing Australia’s sale and leaseback arrangements in the ACT. This involves disposal and acquisition work as well as arranging leasebacks, lease contracts and financing for more than 100 properties a year.</font><br />
