Ben also has considerable expertise in the field of statutory interpretation. Ben has been responsible for the development and delivery of formal training programs in statutory interpretation for an international law firm and for Commonwealth government departments.

Ben is the Partner responsible for the firm’s Building and Construction practice, with over ten years’ experience. Formerly an engineer with the Royal Australian Air Force, Ben brings this same precision and technical excellence to managing high profile property and construction matters, and works hard to drive the firm’s engagement with property developers, construction companies and Commonwealth agencies.

Ben specialises in property development, building and construction, planning, precinct land use assessment, sustainability, commercial and retail leasing, affordable housing, compulsory land acquisition and valuation law.

Ben also has considerable expertise in the field of statutory interpretation. Ben has been responsible for the development and delivery of formal training programs in statutory interpretation for an international law firm and for Commonwealth government departments.

Ben is actively involved in a range of different capacities outside the firm, including being a member of the Executive Divisional Council of the Property Council of Australia (ACT Division), Chair of the Planning Committee of the Property Council of Australia (ACT Division), Director of the Olivia Lambert Foundation, and Director of Tennis ACT.
